Reach Trivandrum by 0700hrs, and start your travel to Podium, in MUV. Go till the vehicle can reach and start your trek to the Tribal Settlement in Podium. Fresh up, have breakfast and start the trek by 1100hrs. On the way have packed lunch and reach, Athirumalai summit camp by evening 1700hrs. Night stay at Athirumalai.
Wake up early morning fresh up, have tea with light breakfast and start the summit trek by 0630hrs. Summit by 0900hrs – 1000hrs reaches back the summit camp by noon 1300hrs. Have lunch and spend the rest of the day visiting the nearby orchid trails and relaxing. Can have a bath from the nearby forest stream.
After breakfast start your return trek to the tribal settlement. Reach by noon, have delicious lunch made by the tribal and trek to the Peppara reservoir or nearby forest stream for bathing and relaxing. Start back by 1630hrs and reach Trivandum by 1730hrs.
